From what I notice during testing of this jig head, even though the line runs through the fron, the tug or pull does come from the center of the jig. 

Imagine this if you will, the slightest movement moves the bait across the bottom in a standing position. A harder twitch will pull from the back to center, actually pulling the nose upward and the body or bait slightly backwards before standing up again.</description>
